[Fredslist] Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival has Internships

I came across this offering in a local paper, The Advocate, in the Berkshires and thought someone might be interested in these exciting opportunities.

Internship applications are now being accepted in arts administration and technical theater production.
Jacob's Pillow is a National Histoic Landmark and the longest running dance festival in the country and celebrates its 75th annivaersary during its summer-long festivities. 

Thirty-one positions in 12 program areas are available: archives preservation;business develop0ment: individual support/special events or institutional support;education;general management;graphic design;marketing: editorial or press; operations; photojournalism; technical theater production; ticket services: development or house management; and videography. 

Interns are selected through a  competitive process of written applications and phone interviews.  Former interns have gone on to jobs at prestigious arts organizations throught the U.S., Europe and Asis.
