On September 19, 2007, I am Producing a historic, cultural event
with legendary musicians Odetta and Leon Bibb. (PLEASE READ BELOW) The

King Blues Club has graciously agreed to host this event, including
preliminary costs. Sponsorship needs are not great, but are necessary to
take the evening to another level.

In exchange for your financial sponsorship, I can arrange
visibility that works for your Company, etc. This can be custom
designed, depending on your needs.

Since time is of the essence, I look forward to hearing from you
immediately. to discuss this extraordinary Event further.

Over the course of the last half-century, ODETTA
has become one of the most celebrated figures in music. She has sung for
American Presidents, walked arm-in-arm with great leaders of the Civil
Rights movement and served as an inspiration to several generations of
musicians, most famously Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin. The New York Times
once described this great American artist in the following terms:
"Odetta's voice remains a remarkably flexible instrument; capable both
of soft-spun timbres and one with a powerful cutting edge, equally
convincing in resonant, low tones and scat-like passages way up high."
She is a national treasure. ERIC BIBB was born In New York into a
musical family. His father, LEON BIBB, was a trained singer who
performed in musical theatre and made a name for himself as part of the
1960's New York folk scene. His uncle was the world famous Jazz pianist
and composer John Lewis, of the Modern Jazz Quartet. Family friends
included Pete Seeger, Odetta and actor/singer/activist Paul Robeson,
Eric's godfather. A performance by Eric Bibb is an enriching experience
- both musically and spiritually. Purveying a beautifully realized and
deftly accomplished, soulful and gospel infused, folk-blues, Eric has no
problem melding a traditional rootsy American style with a subtle
contemporary sensibility. As one critic wrote " Eric's singing and
versatile guitar playing fuse a variety of genres to become a New World
Blues".
