Following up on Fred's note re email etiquette (" Use a Meaningful Subject Line") - 

Think of what someone might be looking for when writing your subject. For example - "brilliant accountant" will be more likely to be opened by someone who could use an accountant than something labelled "resume". Or "help me with a restaurant" rather than just "help". Think in terms of advertising headline.
