[Fredslist] Unclaimed monies

You might already know about this, but I've just learned & want to share
with you, that the New York State Comptroller's Office holds unclaimed
monies - from Con Ed security deposits to salaries and everything
in-between.

 Click on this website (or copy & paste it into your browser) and type in a
 last name (no punctuation if you add a first initial or first name), and
 no need to add a city.
 Shortcut to: http://www.osc.state.ny.us/ouf/index.htm

 If there are unclaimed monies you can fill out the form on-line.

 This is real.  I found 5 unclaimed accounts being held for a relative who
 was unaware of them.  I hope you find some monies in your name too.
