Dear Fred:

I am writing this letter seeking help, advice, opinion or otherwise.
Living in Tucson, Arizona for the last seven months (I am substitute
teaching) has given me time to reflect on my past, present and future.
 You have known me for 29 years and in this span of time I have tried,
succeeded and failed in my career. I don't point fingers for the
failure and I don't pat myself on my back for my success.  I just
cherish what I have learned, count it as a blessing and move on to my
next project and a new set of goals.
With that being said, I have a new project and a new set of goals.
Isn't life wonderful!!!

By looking at my resume, you can see that my professional career has
been jumpy, so I am looking for something steady.  I am trying to
obtain a position at an institution of higher learning in the
admissions' office, the athletic department or the student affair's
office.   I have made this my project because I believe this will give
me job stability, experience, benefits, a chance to work with students
and a chance to go back to school.  So far, I have applied for
positions at Yale, Drexel, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma.   Anything you
can do for me will be greatly appreciated.
