[Fredslist] Gotham's Newest Group - Working Moms Networking Group

Hi Gotham,


I have the pleasure of letting you know that we are in the process of
forming our newest Gotham group - The Working Mom's Networking Group (aren't
all moms working moms!). 

 

Current Gotham members are welcome to attend the inaugural meeting to see
what this new group is all about but as with all of our groups, you may
retain membership in only one Gotham group.  

 

Please feel free to send this email invitation to any Working Moms you know
(and also to those Moms who are seeking to get back into the workforce).
For anyone wishing to attend the lunch (cost is $40 per person), please know
that attending on the 5th  does not  mean that you are necessarily committed
to joining the group so feel free to meet with us on the 5th and see what
this new group is all about share your ideas and thoughts for the group.

 

 

Who:               Working mothers of children of all ages and also moms
seeking to get back into the workforce 

What:              Inaugural meeting to discuss and plan the group 

Where:            Friars Club in NYC on 55th b/w Park and Madison

When:             Tuesday, December 5 12:00 noon till 1:30 pm

Why:               Co-Chairs Julie Klein and Nancy Schess along with
Founding Member Jill Tipograph recognized a need to harness and formally
utilize the tremendous amount of knowledge, talent and connections that moms
have and formed the Moms' Networking Group.  The Group was formed to provide
a forum for mothers to discuss relevant issues, support each other in their
business and personal pursuits, and share contacts, ideas and resources. The
Moms' Group brings together women in complimentary fields with the primary
purpose of providing nurture and support to mothers in all of their
professional and personal endeavors.

How:               You can register for the lunch by logging on to the web
site, choose calendar and select the Mom's Networking Group on December 5
and pay by credit card or mail your check for $40 payable to Gotham City
Networking indicate Mom's Networking Group on the check to Gotham City
Networking, 485 Madison Ave, NY NY 10022

spot for you at the meeting.

 

Gotham's Working Mom's Networking Group will be considered part of Gotham's
Women's Division - with 2 successful groups already in this division -
Gotham Women's Group and Gotham's Long Island Women's Group.  The Working
Mom's Networking Group will be co-chaired by Gotham's Co-Founder, Nancy
Schess (nschess at kzrd.com) and  Julie Klein (julie2k at optonline.net).
