[Fredslist] Seeking recommendations for home remodellers

Gothamites,

 	Our house is over a 100 years old, and it requires some much 
needed repairs - roof, porch, electrical, etc.

 	I'm looking for recommendations for home remodellers -- we want to 
expand the house, reconfigure some rooms, etc.

 	Suggestions, recommendations, horror stories and gotchas welcome.
