[Fredslist] Atty in Ft Lauderdale Area Needed

Dear Gotham Family,

I am looking for an attorney in the Ft. Lauderdale area that specializes
in condominum rules and regulations. The situation is this:

I purchased a condo in Century Village in Deerfield Beach, Florida about
3 years ago.  At the time I purchased I made sure that the condo allowed
owners to rent out their apts.  As such, I have rented out the apartment
with permission from the Board for the past year.  However, on May 22,
by unanimous vote of the condo Board, it has been decided that owners
will no longer be allowed to rent.  The Condo Board did not grandfather
those who purchased properties for investiment purposes prior to this
May 22 date.  

The apartment cost me $800 a month to run and unfortunately, it will be
very difficult to sell at this time as there is a glut of apts up for
sale in the development as a result of the recent hurricanes in the
area, as many elderly people have decided to sell and move into assisted
living.   As a result of this change, myself and many other non-live in
owners may end up losing thousands of dollars.  

I do not specialize in this area of the law, but it seems to me that
this retroactive change smacks of a deprivation of property without due
process.  As such, I am in urgent need of an attorney in the area that
specializes is these types of issues.  Any referrrals would be most
appreciated.
