Do you remember the fairy tale where the Pricess, no matter how many mattresses were piled up could not get comfortable and fall asleep? That is until she discovered a small pea under the bottom mattress. The pea was removed, she finally was comfortable and all those mattresses piled high to the ceiling were no longer needed.

HOLIDAY HOUSE TC, INC., an Albany based drug and rehabilitation theraputic community program is in need of the Princess' old twin mattresses.

My husband, Ken McGuinness, is on the board of directors and tells me that this organization has an impressive success rate of 64% vs. 18% whereby participants get clean, get jobs and stay in those jobs. Holiday House has contracts with 23 of the state's 42 counties and will drive anywhere for mattresses.

So, if you know where the princess put those mattresses this organiation will pick them up.
