You may have heard me talk about "my high school" which is the inner city High School for Leadership & Public Service which fellow Gothamites Jane Present, Sam Penceal, Rebecca Selvenis, Scott Bloom, Lisa Mueller and Linda Queenie Newman devote themselves to. I have said, quite seriously that my work with them and many other Syracuse University graduates on its behalf may get me into Heaven. I have not solicited on behalf of the school, but the kids have come up with a wonderful holiday card and if you want to help nudge me along please see below. Thanks!

Subject: Here it is

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year. If you have
never had the opportunity to lend a helping hand to the High School For
Leadership & Public Service, here is your opportunity to really give us a boost.
And it will not deplete your bank account or max out your credit card.
The High School for Leadership & Public Service announces it’s first-ever,
student-designed holiday card. The universally appealing theme of this card is
PEACE.
All proceeds from the sale will go the “High School for Leadership and
Public Service’s College Scholarship Fund.”
A package of twelve (12) cards costs $10.00 plus $2.00 for shipping and
handling. The cards will be ready for shipment by the middle of the October.
For all pertinent information about orders and delivery, as well as a peek
at the design of the card, please go to:_http://www.geocities.com/leadholiday_
(http://www.geocities.com/leadholiday)
Please network this project to the best of your ability. It is Gotham’s
community of networkers to support the school about which Fred Klein, I, and
several other Gothamites care so deeply and support so arduously. You'll be glad
you did, and so will our kids.
Thanks in advance for your generosity.
