[Fredslist] college student seeks law firm summer internship

My son's friend is looking for a summer position to learn about law.
Here's his letter and resume.

To whom it may concern:

I am currently attending Rutgers University. I am in my junior year
working toward a degree in Political Science and an Economics minor.  I
would like to be considered for an internship or part-time position at
this law firm for the summer of 2005.


Law is something that has always been of great interest to me, and it is
something I plan on pursuing a career in.  However, before I make the
commitment to go to law school, I am looking to gain some experience in
the field.  As an intern or employee, the benefit will be mutual.  Not
only will I gain valuable experience in the legal industry, which I will
be able to apply to my future endeavors, but my precision, communication
skills, and capacity to learn will prove to be a strong asset to this
firm.

Enclosed is a copy of my resume, which demonstrates my organization,
communication, and leadership skills.  I would like the opportunity to
set
up an interview with this firm, and I look forward to hearing from you.
