TITLE: Coordinator, Finance & Administration
DEPARTMENTS: Office of Vice President, Finance & Administration
LOCATION: New York
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Finance & Administration
The Coordinator, Finance & Administration, provides general administrative,
communications, project management and clerical support to the VP Finance &
Administration, and administrative assistance in the management of
Accounting, Facilities & Services, Information Technology Services, and
Human Resources departments.
In this position you will assist in preparing materials for Board
Committees, including Finance & Budget, Audit, and Compensation Committees.
You will coordinate completion and distribution of forms, reports and
filings relating to regulatory compliance, legal disputes, banking, industry
surveys, insurance, taxes and audits, and office facilities. You will
manage workflow and maintain files in the Vice President's office, develop
and prepare correspondence and memoranda, and manage phone and mail
communications. You will prepare and maintain schedules of appointments,
meetings, and business travel, and coordinate and complete special projects
for the Vice President as directed.
Candidates will have BA/BS or equivalent experience, and three years of
general office experience, preferably in a finance or accounting area. Good
communication and interpersonal skills, plus excellent organizational
ability are required. Shorthand or fast longhand is helpful, and facility
with spreadsheet software, (Excel), WordPerfect, and data entry. Knowledge
of HIV/AIDS issues is a plus.
