[Fredslist] Leadership High School seniors need porom dresses

The Friends of the High School for  Leadership and Public Service - an 
economically challenged New  York City public high school sponsored by Syracuse 
University and located near  Wall Street – are preparing for prom season and they 
are in need of your  help.

Remember all those prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses that  are hanging in 
the back of your closet (or your wife's or girlfriend's  closet!)?  The Friends 
are collecting them to donate to the young women at  the High School to use 
as prom dresses this spring.  They have even  enlisted the assistance of a few 
designers who will help the girls to remake the  dresses into today's most 
current styles.  This will provide the students  with a more reasonable cost to 
attend their prom and allow them to put that  money towards next year's college 
expenses.

The next month has been  designated as donations month for the  Prom Closet; 
we will accept dresses until Monday May  16th at the locations below.  If you 
have dresses that you would like to  donate, you may contact the following 
alumni to schedule drop offs in three  different parts of the city:
 
1. Lisa Mueller
The High School for Leadership and  Public Service 
90 Trinity Place (across from Trinity Church; near Wall  Street)
Drop off between 7:30am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday only; April  25-29 
school is closed
