What sets Gotham apart from other networking groups is that we are not only about lead generation, which is what most networking groups encourage. Instead, we strive to create personal relationships with each other that drive success in business as well as in other aspects of our lives. From finding jobs in distant countries to furnishing an apartment for a needy family close to home, Gothamites rise to the challenge and give incessantly to help fellow networkers meet their needs both professional and otherwise. One primary goal for Gotham is to provide quality networking opportunities for our members at a modest cost.
The broad base of Gotham members helps us to make the right connections in every situation. Time and time again, our members find that by reaching out to others we help ourselves as well.
In addition, the Gotham tradition is to maintain an openness to new ideas and directions. We say that there is nothing that cannot be accomplished through the open minds of our members. Our only rule is that participants at any given meeting cannot compete with other participants.
Gotham's twenty three groups include a number of "general" groups, including location-based groups, as well as a growing number of niche groups that focus on a specific member demographic.
