Fridays With Fred

A perfect way to send you into your weekend
I Feel Good!
I Feel Good!

I have learned why I have become addicted to my iPhone and Social Media.   For background, please read my Friday With Fred blog of two weeks ago: I'm Addicted.

It seems that when one garners a Facebook "Like" or comment it stimulates the body to produce the chemical dopamine and when that happens, as the great James Brown exclaimed, "I Feel Good!"

I admit that I post my blog on Facebook and Twitter to broaden its reach. However, even more rewarding than a Facebook reaction or retweet is a blog comment and when I receive one I reply to the comment on the blog to add to the chemistry and keep the conversation going.

So, you know what to do to make me feel good!

Thanks.

I "Like" this post and social media. :) In addition to likes, tweets and retweets on social media making us feel good, it's also a good way to help fellow Gotham Members spread the word about their businesses. If you're on FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and/or Google+ and we aren't connected let's connect. We can help each other out and make each other feel good!

I don't "do" facebook so can't "like" anything there generally (except the weird pop-ups on my phone)-have yet to figure those out, however my pleasure to "like" your wonderful blogs. Have an amazing weekend.

It's that instant gratification ~ nothing quite 'like' it!

Proof of why social media is a drug and so widespread. Just don't do it while driving, in meetings, while engaged in a face to face conversation, while dining or in the bed room. Other than that, enjoy the fix, it does feel good.

You're not alone . It's all about ego . Whatever makes you feel good . That's addiction. Be thankful it doesn't take on another form . I'll take Dopamine all day long . From whatever resource I can . This blog, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter . I have over 500 followers on Twitter . I'm the King of the World . POTUS even Tweeted me back . We talk the same talk and walk the same walk . "North Korea is behaving very badly!" He got that from me !

    Hollander sends
