A Premonition
A Premonition

I gazed at the half-full coffee mug on my desk as I stood up. I had to walk down the halls to another attorney's office to discuss a case. I thought about taking the mug with me. Nice to be able to sip the rest of my morning coffee. But something made me think twice. I took the mug anyway. As I was walking back to my office someone came rushing around a corner. What little coffee was left in the mug ended up on my shirt. I had meetings later that day. Something had to be done about the wet and stained shirt. A premonition. That little voice that made me think twice. Whether ignored or thought through, the premonition made itself known...as they so often do. ...

Never ignore that little voice. It is an uncanny alarm
system. Sorry about your shirt. Kelly

Always go with your gut! I regret it every time I ignore mine. Glad the cup wasn't full and too hot. It could have been worse.
